Heading into 2020, I was so excited to sell my products at Viking Fest in Poulsbo, WA, Midsummer Festival in Portland, OR, and Høstfest in Minot, ND, in addition to other local craft fairs and farmers markets.  With most events canceled to prevent the spread of Covid-19, I wanted to find a way to bring that Scandinavian event experience online and to help other Scandinavian shops and restaurants that were also struggling to replace that lost revenue! 

 

Together with my business partner and social media guru, Kristin Farber, we worked to create a virtual marketplace for Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, and Icelandic shops in the United States.  We feel very strongly that during times like this, it is even more important to support small business whenever possible, and we also believe in supporting our Nordic community.
